The Music People (TMP), a division of Exertis Jam, has announced the promotion of longtime employee Tom Tedesco (pictured on right) to president and CEO. Sharon Hennessey (pictured, middle) and John Hennessey (pictured, left), current co-presidents, will be appointed chairwoman and chairman. Montreal-based Exertis Jam (formerly Jam Industries) acquired TMP in 2020 and has facilitated its continued growth.

Over the years, Tedesco has worked his way up in the company, with his most recent position being VP of sales and business development. He led the TMP’s continued growth in all the markets it serves domestically and globally, the company says.

“Tom has demonstrated excellent judgment and strong leadership with a focus on our relationships. The time is right for him as well as the business to take this logical next step, and we couldn’t be more proud of him and the whole team,” says Hennessey.
